Message a TTZ. Please folks lets respect those who take the time to know these things. If Ash or anybody else chooses to get technical, its always a good thing. If you couldn't tell, this is a bit of a pet peeve of mine as it is for most in the profession. Why bite the hand that feeds... how about opening into a healthy technical debate that will lead to something good. If you feel Ash is wrong, can you provide a precise counter arguement why? How big is your sampling lot of the cars you refer to? Were all without boost leaks as confirmed by documented and quantified leak down checks? Compression checks? How about a whole host of other variables? No need to answer these points, I'm just pointing out that we should be very cautious of simple explanations for complicated phenomenon.

With that said, the fact that there are cases of detonation in the high altitudes warrants further investigation, but gentlemen, lets keep the arguements clean and concise.
